Greenwich Georgian Estate

What started with a few changes to a couple of rooms quickly turned into an entire interiors overhaul of this 1929 Georgian estate in Greenwich, for international clients with small children. Respecting the grandness of original architecture required us to create many custom pieces so they weren’t dwarfed under the TK-foot ceilings. Myriad finishes, from expertly upholstered walls in silk velvet and suede to the master bath in multiple marbles, reflect the client’s sophisticated taste and yet provide an appropriate backdrop for art works by Picasso, Matisse and Murakami, along with key formal furniture the clients wanted to incorporate in their new home. The layout of the home also allows for distinctive private escapes and more public entertaining rooms, along with both girls and boys play and game rooms with an equal amount of design detail.
